50 Cent has issued a public apology for mocking a disabled airport worker on Twitter and Instagram.

The rapper had posted a now-deleted video of himself making fun of 19-year-old Andrew Farrell at Cincinatti/ Norther Kentucky International Airport, where Farrell works as a custodian, saying he appeared to be "high as a mother---er."

While the incident at the airport resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding, please accept my sincere apology letter to Farrell and his family. "It was certainly not my intent to insult you and I wish you and your family well."

The apology comes after media reports claimed that Farell's family had lawyered up and were considering filing a lawsuit against 50, who has been plagued with legal troubles since 2013.
