Blo5k & Stuey Rock Link For F*ck On Da Gang [AUDIO]

Blo5k (Lil A & Fatt) is a Hip Hop duo from the streets of East Atlanta. Fatt from Gresham Road is the laid back, self-acclaimed ladies man. Whereas Lil A is the raw, lyrically aggressive half of the duo.

“We came from nothing!” (Lil A)

Growing up poor, Lil A & Fatt did any and everything necessary to survive and music has always served as a therapeutic outlet for the two. Blo5k is now utilizing their platform to show people that it does not matter where you come from because dreams can be achieved with dedication, commitment, and a positive attitude.

Blo5k recently recruited Durtty Boyz’ own, Stuey Rock for a remix to their sexy club banger, “F*ck On Da Gang”. The music video is set to release sometime next month.

J Cole’s Artist J.I.D Releases Debut Album

Atlanta’s own J.I.D released his debut solo project today called The Never Story which demonstrates Atlanta’s forgotten lyrical abilities.

2 weeks ago, J.I.D released a promo video on Dreamville’s official Youtube channel announcing that he signed to J Cole’s, Dreamville Record Label. Since then, the emcee has released a visual for his single, “Never” and a 12 track EP.

The Never Story features verses from rising artist 6LACK and fellow Spillage Village artists, EarthGang.

In a recent interview with XXL, J.I.D defends the sound of Atlanta:
“People try to discredit our city. Our city has a lot of flavors and it’s not all one type. It’s a different scene, it’s a different vibe and it’s Black people everywhere. Black people are creative as fuck; we are a different type of people. So Atlanta having all these qualities, they emphasize one side of it, the trap, and the flashiness. It has been and it’s people there who can do it and I just want to be on the forefront of that and this is what I came here to do.”

Hip Hop Remembers Biggie Smalls

Christopher Wallace, also known as The Notorious B.I.G. and Biggie Smalls was honored today by New York Congressman, Hakeem Jeffries, for his contributions to Hip Hop’s culture.

Although he only released 2 solo albums, Notorious B.I.G. left an impeccable impact on the world as he is still ranked as one of the best rappers of all time. He gained mainstream success in 1994 with his hit single, “Juicy”, redefining the East Coast sound. He is also credited with discovering the self-acclaimed Queen of Hip Hop, Lil Kim.

On March 9, 1997, Biggie was tragically killed following months of tension after the death of Tupac Shakur, ending Hip Hop’s West Coast and East Coast 3 year rivalry.

20 years since his death, his murder remains unsolved.

Biggie lives on through his former business partner, Diddy, his widow, Faith Evans, his mother and children and the many others who carry his legacy.

Check out Hip Hop’s reaction to the 20th year anniversary of Biggie’s death below:
